A little bit about who we are, and what we’re doing!
About Us
We’re Elijah and Stu: two students from Leicester trying to prove that weekend trips don’t have to break the bank!
We come from two different worlds, with Elijah growing up in the countryside of Oxfordshire, and Stu on the coast in Hampshire. Having met in 2022 we quickly realised our shared passion for travel, but not having much spare cash between us, big exotic holidays were entirely out of the question! Instead, we realised that short breaks over the weekend could be done on a minimal budget and still give you the same impression, and thus the first seeds of ETWUK were planted. Specifically, our YouTube Channel is our way of keeping a record of where we’ve been and what we’ve done, so that when old age hits us and we start forgetting things, at least we have a visual record of all the good times we shared!
There’s so much we plan to do in the future, and we have big ideas for the channel, so come along for the journey and see what we get up to!
Fun fact! We both lived in London at the same time period, so there’s a small chance might have crossed paths before meeting!

And that’s it! A simple set up like this gives us the most flexibility when it comes to capturing and sharing our adventures, and all our kit has been bought second-hand, to help keep those costs low!
